The Fort Madison Family YMCA is challenging members and non-members with a 10 week fitness challenge beginning January 16th.

Get Fit Challenge Fee: $30/members, $60/non-members (includes 10 week Individual YMCA Membership)


• Participants must workout at The Fort Madison Family YMCA an average of 3 times per week for 10 weeks beginning January 16th. (There are no limitations to participant workouts. Participants may workout by swimming, joining aerobic classes, utilizing the weight room and wellness center, walking the gymnasium, etc.)

• Check in at the Fort Madison Family YMCA a total of 30 times during the program. (Attendance is tracked through cards for both members and non members when swiped at front desk)

• Weigh-in January 16th (anytime during office hours) with a YMCA staff member

• Weigh-out March 27th (anytime during office hours) with a YMCA staff member

Challenge Winners:

All participants who lose weight (or maintain their starting weight) over the 10 week challenge will receive a YMCA T-shirt and YMCA Cotton Tote

Grand Prize Winners: The top two participants who lose the most weight/percentage will receive gift certificates to various local establishments, YMCA Swag, and Personal Training Sessions with YMCA Personal Trainer, Dana Zumdome.
