The Fort Madison Family YMCA will hold a Lifeguard Certification Course with Sara Mueller beginning Wednesday, December 8th for individuals 15 years of age and older who are interested in lifeguarding.
Students will need to complete the 30 minute in-water pretest on Wednesday, December 8th from 4pm-5pm, the online pre-test which must be completed by December 27th, in-person water and CPR/First Aid training classes, and a final test to achieve full certification. Students are asked to bring photo ID/Proof of age with you to the pre-test.
Those unable to attend the in-water pretest on December 8th from 4-5pm may contact Sara Mueller directly at (319)721-4996 to schedule a time that works best for them.

IN-PERSON CLASS DATES/TIMES: December 28th, 29th & 30th from 8:30am to 3:30pm
REQUIREMENTS: Must be 15 years old by December 30th and attend each in-person class.
COURSE FEE: $150
